Snow Days in February

What a snowy and cold February we had! This article appeared in the Lynchburg News & Advance:

I had to get up early and drive to work on February 20. It was -8 degrees and so cold that Andrew's driver's side door wouldn't close! I had to hold onto it for the entire trip to Bedford (the song "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea comes to mind...)

What do snow days look like? They look like pajamas at noon, toys everywhere, long and lazy naps, and watching home videos while drinking hot cocoa and eating cinnamon rolls. February gave us plenty of winter weather and cancelled school for Daddy!

But, oh, when that sunshine returns! We love to soak it up and shake off our hibernating blues! Cabin fever makes us want to stay outside all day long when the weather turns bright and happy again.
